I am looking for a heavy duty sheath to fit my Midnite Tiger and S5, preferably tactical/nylon or if not, leather would do. I have searched in vain on the internet but no dice and SOG could not help even with a search for old stock. Does anyone know of a vendor that will sell (or make) heavy duty nylon. I really like the Spec Op product but to my knowledge they do not make anything to fit a 9 inch blade. Any help would be appreciated.

I'll suggest a search in the SOG Forum, there's a couple of guys who've posted that make sheaths.

Give 'em a shout, provide 'em your specs, and see if they're interested in the project.

I just received my Spec Ops Survival sheath from the good people in Monahans, Texas. With a little work and some ingenuity I made it to fit my Midnite Tiger... perfectly!
This is a well made product and is designed to hold a lot of small equipment including penlight, lighter, honing steel etc. The changes I made may not be for everybody but they work for me and I am completely satisfied with this quality product.

I am throwing in some pics of my new Winchester Model 70 in 300WSM that just averaged .454 inch for three shot groups at 100 yards. Best group was .306 center to center.

Hi 300WSM,
I'm looking to buy that sheath for my tigershark aswell, but its only states a 8inch blade... So what are the changes you made to fight the 9inch tigershark perfectly in that sheath?
