Tigerstripe and G10 handles, why that can not be done?

I did the search, but either I've missed the answer or there was none

Anyways, Mick, I hope I'm not asking something classified, but the other day I wanted to order MH with G10 handles & tigerstripe handles & got the negative answer, that this is not possible, because heat treat affects G10 handles.

Just curious, why or how? Even though I don't know anything about heat treatement except that the knife is getting heated & then cooled, I tend to think at that point there's no handle on the blade?
What am I missing? When does the tigerstripe spoles the things so that G10 handles can't be attached?

Your thinking much too technical. We can't do it because when we put the epoxy on the handle it gets all over everything. We have to blast it off. This destroys the ability to do the Tiger stripes.
