What type of allen keys, torx? stuff do you use to tighten the screws one of mine has developed some side to side blade play so I need to tighten it.

Don't forget to apply a little loc-tite. A great must have stuff for folders lovers.

billstevens, each company or even model may use different drivers for their pivot screws.

Also, don't go using just any type of loctite. It comes in different 'colors' and only one of them is easily removable for use in pivots, and you have to be careful even with that.

Well that made life very easy for me thanks guys :).

I have a SOG Trident and MOD Mark I that need tightening does that help out?

MOD Mark I uses a 3/32" hex.

I'm not real familiar with loctite and don't use it but I found a list someone had posted about the different strengths:

Purple Loctite 222. Light duty for screws. Repositionable.
Blue Loctite 242. Medium duty for 1/4" to 1/2" bolts. Non permanent. Removable.
Red Loctite 271. Heavy duty for 3/8" to 1" bolts. Permanent, requires heat
Red Loctite 277. Super duty for 1" and larger. Permanent, require heat
Green Loctite 290. Applied after assembly. Removable.

The blue is the one generally recommended here.
