I have an old knife that was made by my great, great uncle and passed down through the generations to me recently from my dad.
Finnish steel, Reindeer handle and no visible tang nut. The blade is slightly loose now and the sheath needs some leather work (can handle that part). I was hoping someone would be able to give me a little guidance on how to tighten the blade so that i dont damage anything on it?
Photos attached.
Any help is much appreciated! (Will be when my phone lets me attach anyways…)

will send pics I guess…? Having trouble posting here. Tang has no tightening bolt. Not sure how to tighten- was made 100+ years ago, definitely do not want to damage it, but I would like to be able to use it!

how much wobble are we talking about?

tiny bit or Alot.

Perhaps you could slide down a antler chip into the crevice or a stainless shim, pack it in. And fill the void it super glue.
There are low viscosity super glues available.

Be careful, wipe clean the face with solvent to remove excess glue. Hold upright so glue doesn't leak out while curing.

If possible, it might work better IF you can remove the handle completely and fill with epoxy, before reassembling. That way you know that you are getting enough epoxy In there. -Again, wipe clean before it cures.
