Tighten the tang

I just got a basic 7" blade survival knife from a friend, and while ive managed to get the knicks out and sharpen it, the bolt that holds the blade into the handle is loose. I've tightened it several times and it comes loose after so much use. The tool I have barely works. The bolt is a hex(?) bolt.

I've had good luck with the Loctite 222MS, even on firearms.

One or the other should do ya, OP.

The Loctite goes on the threads, liberally in your case. Install it, and tighten well.

Be sure to let the Loctite fully cure for at least 24 hours before use.

BTW, lots of fake loctite out there. Try to match OO's picture (comes in smaller bottles and tubes, too, but avoid Korean/Chinese letters, etc.)
