I have searched the Balisong Forum and I have read Clay's tips several times. I have put the pins of my 45 into a vise (there is a section just below the "teeth" of the vise where it is smooth) and I tighten it down, I continue to [slowly] tighten the vise down on the pins until I cannot tighten it down any more, I have even left the balisong like that for several hours and nothing changes. I have used both a rubber mallet and a hammer to try to tap the pins back together but nothing, I even started to pound on the pins with the hammer and still nothing!?!! It is way out of alignment and I can't find a way to get it back to being tight, are there any other ways to straighten out the forks?? Thanks
