can i just tighten them or do i have to take them out put the blue loctite in and then tighten i know people have already talked about this but i cant remember which was right

Depends on the answer to this question: Do you want the torx to get loose from manipulations?

Yes: You can forego the locktite. If you don't mind minor adjustments of the torx screw every now.

No: Use a very small drop of blue loctite. Make sure to clean the threads of the screw for best bond.

Here's a tip for applying the locktite. Squeeze out a small amount of the locktite onto any disposable surface. Then with the screw on the bit just touch the treads to the small blob of the blue. This way you won't acidently waste it or use more than you need.;)

I use a toothpick. A tiny drop is all you need. Remember, when it comes to Lock Tite: red = regret. Blue = beautiful.

I also use a tooth pick for the application...(and for Militec-1 also)..
