Hello! So I recently picked up a large plain Jane 21 (my first plain handled) and I went to go take off the lanyard, but I noticed that the Allen wrench would not fit in the screw. I tried it the other way and nothin.
So I carefully lined it up at a 90 degree angle with the screw and it slid in like butter. I've had maybe 30 or so CRK's and this is the first one that I've noticed and extremely tight tolerance on the body screw.
On many of my other ones, you'd be able to get the Allen key in and it would have just a hair of play when fully inserted into the screw.
On mine, there is no play at all. I can barely snug it in there all of the way.
Just to confirm, I tried another Allen wrench I had from an older Umnumzaan, and same thing.
Oh by the way the birthdate is: June 22, 2016 and the tool is the silver tool.
Has anybody else experienced this? Or can confirm if the screws are tighter tolerance or maybe the tools have been beefed up a tad?
