The Tigress all have cants to the blade. Some more than others. The cant helps facilitate better chopping by allowing the edge to hit its target at angle for a shearing effect similar to a khukri.
 
Right, I guess it just seems like this one has more of a cant than the others I've seen and handled. Much more khukri'esque.
