Tilting 2x72 plywood base?

I used the forum's google search engine, but didn't see anything that was like this. I was searching around on the YouTube's for tilting base ideas and I saw a video by VB Blades and he has a very simply constructed plywood base for his 2x72. Here is a link to the video and the base becomes visible around the 5:20 mark.

I also love James Keeton's, but I just don't need something that solidly built currently....

Does anyone else have simple setups for their 72's?
 
Yep, that works just fine. That's what I've done with my 2X72, except it's bolted to a solid stand, but the plywood base flips just like that.
 
I don't have one but I watched him demo it give or take 10 years ago and when tilted the motor rest on a disk with holes in it for airflow. He sold right many, maybe somebody that uses one will chime in.
I noticed in the video that the OP posted the motor rests on something solid and I wondered if heat would be an issue when I saw it.
