What are these knives like, has anyone ever known or owned one?

Hunting? Don't be a wise guy, what do you hunt with a knife?

Name it!

Edge,

Tim Britton is a good friend of mine.
He is a fantastic person as well as knifemaker.
I've held a few of his Terminator's (never used one, though) and they are sweet.
He has been making knives since the early 70's. If he weren't good at it he would not still be making and selling knives in my opinion.

I have a couple of Tim's knives. He's entirely too modest, laid back, and easy to deal with to be a knifemaker! However, he's quite skilled and does beautiful work. Don't tell Tim, but he doesn't charge enough given the quality. He's also very flexible regarding steel, handle material, etc.

I don't have a Terminator, although I like the looks. I find a smaller knife more useful and much easier to carry. My first Britton knife was his Jimbo, which I thought was an attractive knife, practical design, and reasonable size. He made it of D2, and it is both beautiful, practical, and razor sharp. It's a great field knife.

After enjoying the Jimbo, my only "reservation" was that a slightly smaller knife with a 5" blade might be lighter, handier, and less likely to draw attention when worn around civilians (even here in Idaho). He built a "Little Jimbo" which is my favorite knife. I believe I asked him to use ATS-34 for this.

My son covets this knife, so Tim is currently making two more "Little Jimbo's" for me, so I can keep one and another as a gift for a good friend.

Great guy, great knives.
