Tim Hancock and his presentation bowie

Close up of this incredible bowie! I imagine the damascus mix is 1084/15N20, but I could be wrong. Whatever, it's totally gorgeous!

This knife was really amazing. Seeing it was one of the highlights of the show for me. The detail on the handle is absolutley exquisite, and the damascus just shimmers like a mirage in the desert. There are barely a handful of people in the world who posess the skill to create its equal. It is truly the work of a master.

When I saw this Bowie that Mr. Tim Hancock made I was in total awe.He has always been a idol to me and this Bowie just made me realise how far I still have to go in the world of knife making. It was absoluteluy increadible. You had to see it up close and in person to really get the effects,it had gold spacers between the ivory and the handle frame that had been filewprked, and the hand made gold domed pins were incredible. And that Damascus was absolutely fantastuc, and the ferrule behind the guard was impecable.Man I could go on and on about this one.

The folks at Point Seven photographed the knife, so those of you who didn't get a chance to see it in person will likely find pictures of it as you browse through one of the major knife publications in the next few months. Hopefully they were able to capture the detailing in the handle.

When I was looking at this knife I always maintained a distance of at least 12 inches and I held my breath the whole time. It was so perfect I didn't even want to breathe on it!

I got to hold this Bowie and boy was I paranoid when I did.But you just couldn't really apriceate it as much if you didn't hold it.But if I didn't know Tim through phone calls and meeting him at a couple of shows I don't think I would have ever picked it up myself.
It is definately a awesome Bowie.
