Hello Folks,

Here lately it has become painfully obvious that Tim Herman is out of control!!! Or, it could just be that he is just a very insensitive person!

He is constantly cracking jokes on new guys, and never offers to share information. I couldn't tell you the last time that Tim had anything positive to say on the forums. Can you???

He has really become a nusance, and I for one, think that this community would be better off without him!

It is my opinion that he should be banned from the forums for good! If you share my opinion please speak now, or forever hold your peace!

I know this is probably not the right forum for this, but it needs to be seen by as many folks as possible.

Please leave it open long enough for it to be seen and discussed!

I think you are exaggerating some. He may be a little crude, rude and socially unacceptable, hey he sounds like someone I could like! Having him over in the Whine and Cheese Forum is perfect; he has his own little playground. In fact as I write this, I suspect this thread is someones idea of a joke. I don't seem to remember the last time he came out to the general forums to raise trouble.

Well, if nothing else I wonder if there is anyway we could ban him from everything but W&C???

The last time he caused trouble in General, was just about a week or two ago! Perhaps you missed his little, "Blow Me" comment...
 
I think Tim should be banned from this forum. He is insensitive and of no social redeeming value what-so-ever. His inability to put up with the questions asked by FNGs cannot be tolerated. He is a menace and should be locked away before he causes great harm to our friendly little community here.

Herman's out of control for sure. He needs to be watched closer and shouldn't be a moderator. He should have been banned a long time ago.

As a matter of fact, I'd better start seeing a 180 degree change in behavior and attitude if he want's to stay here. This "I'm going to insult everyone and make fun of newbies because I can make a knife without using slotted screws" attitude is itching my craw.

Herman makes some of the most beautiful knives I have ever seen PERIOD. The man has talent.

Lack of tact(ical) at times, but pure functional art.

Well I have been fighting with my car all night and am tired and ready for bed.

My quick thoughts are that we gave Tim a forum where he can cut up and do as he pretty much pleases. I and all of you can do the same in there as well. Many of you should stay in there and never venture out, hint, hint

This forum, and all those outside W&C, should be viewed and treated different. Each new person should be treated with respect, likened to that of a child (no offense) asking a parent a question. OK, So I would not want Tim to be my dad, well maybe cause my dad leaves a lot to be desired and damn near anything would be better, but the point is that "we should allow latitude but not longitude" TM.

If you just said "Huh?", it is my way of saying we should allow a wide range of ideas to be dicussed but we should not sink to low levels.

Personally, I'm amused by most of his posts. No....in retrospect I didn't like the BM post either, But on the positive side, he's every other inch pretty much a gentleman,(Well, better make that every few inches)

Here's my .02..It may not even be worth that..BUT..

I do think the Thread about disembowling someone was poor taste..my mother seen it and is of the impression that we disscuss how to kill and torture people..This if far from true..
