Timascus is laminated titanium, created with different types of titanium, similar to Damascus, which is made from two or more different steel alloys. The name is trademarked and the process patented by Tom Ferry, ABS Mastersmith.

Timascus was patented by Chuck Bybee, Bill Cottrell, and Tom Ferry. Alpha Knife Supply is the exclusive dealer of it. There are pics of it on our website at http://www.alphaknifesupply.com/timascus.htm
It is very dangerous to make timascus, Tom Ferry almost burnt down his shop during early testing.
