Hey all,
I thought I'd put up a brief review on this TimberGhost Customs Talon I got from the guys in Gig Harbor, Washington.
I ran into TG first after seeing one of their knives for sale here, in the Exchange. I had a look at their page and asked a few questions, then got down to the business of working with Keone to decide what he'd make me.

I settled on the Talon, in 3V, sheepsfoot blade with full flat grind.
It arrived today and I have to say, I'm pretty thrilled. Here's the knife:

At first pickup, it has a little heft, which I like. I have big hands, and this little gem fills my hand nicely and feels very natural in the palm. Here's a hand size comparison:

The steel is 3V, which is nice. It came with oil on, and the grind is beautiful, full and even. It was slightly less than shaving sharp.
It flicks out easily, and engages with a nice click. There's a nice finger choil and a nice large lanyard ring. The blade shape is perfect, and the file work and finger grip along the tang are perfectly placed, and while grippy, not so aggressive as to hurt the hand.

The detail work is very nice, and well thought out. It achieves a cool, sort of Neanderthal primitive look. Keone does some really fantastic raptor-esque etching, but I opted for a full stone wash.

It carries easily in the pocket, I'd say Grip size plus the tang. I will have a leather sheath made up for it.
I love this knife, and I have to say, I love the look of the TimberGhost stuff in general. I may have to shell out for Havoc next!
Keone was great to work with. My order was overdue by two days, and he sent me a tiny knife in addition to my Talon to compensate:

I'd highly recommend Keone and TimberGhost. I love my Talon!
Here's the photos Keone initially sent me, because mine are taken on my terrible phone camera. Enjoy!
