Yup, Special project knife. Get one in low thirties and you got a good deal. Dang don't have photo of one, will dig mine out....and

Blades polished, mine has small nic in wood on front at bottom of left bolster.

Was this a Bass Pro offering? I remember seeing a Timberlake 110 last year but this is the first of these that I have seen and I like it!

The place I seen had them for about $38. I thought it looked nice. Nice enough to get one for carry and one to put up. Are they made as good as a regular Buck 303?

kh, I have not carried it, the ironwood is rough surfaced, I would think this is a Sunday knife only. Would not stand pocketchange/keys abuse as well as regular Delrin scale.

Will,
I think Ebay is the only place I have seen them regularly. kh, If you got a source for more than one please tell Will.

300bucks

I'm not sure what the rules are but the place is an ebay dealer with 10 of them for roughly $38 each. I dont usually carry much change. The pocket knives I usually carry ar either bone or stag. I would think (but havent seen one to confirm) that the iron wood would fair well. Can I pt you the dealers store or is that a no no here? If so it will be after church because I'm getting ready to leave.

I geuss I read your post wrong. I was suppose to tell Will not you. OOOPPPSSS.

Did this come with a leather pouch like the picture on the bay implies? Great looking knife, though I could do without the feather.

Leather pouch is heavyweight leather, I got knife in but just about could not get it out. You would have to soak it and form it to knife for it to work well. I don't think I would use this knife to do that. Maybe a Delrin scale or China Buck.

KH no problem, took care of it...300$s

I would really love to see Buck offer more 303 with differant handles. This is what had caught my eye on this one is this ironwood. Why would you not use this knife for the wet form? I'm just curious. Looking at your do you think it would hold up as a user?

The wood on my example is finished rough, which I was concerned would soak up water, maybe crack, split, etc. It may be well sealed....But since it was a display case queen I didn't want any issues.....I am sure as a user it will take on it own particular patina after being carried awhile.......303 pearl, red delrin, brown bone and some stag ($$) can still be had from sales and auction sites.....300

I've seen a few of the stags. Well I just ordered one and will see what its like. It may be a safe queen. It looks nice online. I've never seen the brown bone, That would be sweet.

The old Camillus made one I have is 2 1/2 inches. I'm not sure on the new ones. I dont have a new one yet. This one will most likely end up on display instead of the pocket but we will see.

Chose your flavor.....You can really see the ding in my Timberlake scale from this view.....300Bucks

The tiny bit missing from the corner by the rear bolster???

Here's what I've done with chips like that...clean out that chip real good (maybe with lacquer thinner)...saw up some hardwood with your bandsaw or circular saw...you won't need much...you only want the dust...mix the dust with a very small amount of polyester resin...(and activator)...poke it into that corner with a toothpick...that small a ding you can trim with a razor blade...after curing...no sanding required...

...Or just not worry about it... ;)

Or just send it this way and I will put lots of other dings in it. I'm looking forward to mine coming. Dont know yet if I'll use it or not. Wife I think wants to put it up for Christmas. We will see about that.
