Does anyone know who makes the Bob Timberlake Rucksack for sale at Bass Pro? It's not what I usually look for in a pack, but it looks pretty well thought out and made.

I actually started looking at it to make fun of it (too heavy, not practical, wanna-be), but the more I looked, the more I liked it. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, I'll see if I can find a link, but it's one of those canvas and leather "English Gentleman" type of bags. It was also $156!

I remember a while back a thread about some similar bags that seemed to have quite a following here, with guys swearing by them and how long they last, etc. Anyway, I assume it's made by someone else for Bass Pro and hope someone knows something about it.

TIA, Mike

That's a pretty good looking bag. I've been in the market for a new leather bag, but I just can't find myself shelling out hundreds of dollars for a saddleback. Supposedly, they outlast the owner, but still.

LL Bean makes a rucksack also you might want to google them and check them out

Bob Timberlake is one of the Bass Pro Store brands, however I do not know who makes it for us. They are nice to the touch, feel, etc, and I have never seen a customer issue with it.
