Hey guys, I just got a new pair of boots for winter/outdoors time, I got the Timberland Pro Rock Ramblers. I wanted something with a steel toe for protection and maybe a little boot to body SD protection too, something that doesn't look like the typical work boot that I'm not a fan of (I'm an 18 yr old in college) but something still rugged. These boots are awesome, great feel to them, comfortable to wear and pretty damn warm also. They fit pretty good especially compared to other work type boots on my size 11 narrow foot. I got mine at Bobs Stores, they were $89 and 20% off plus my sister works there so I got another 30% off so I got em for $45, not bad at all. Check them out on Timberland's website Hopefully the link works. Any of you guys have them too?

i used to be a big fan of timberland stuff but a couple of years back i stopped buying timberlands...i just got the feeling that they were now concentrating more on fashion and not on the quality of their stuff...

i used to have tough timberland pants but now they don't do 'em anymore...they also used to make nice rugged sweaters but now it's all a bit dainty...

i still have their yellow boots which i wear to lectures once in a while...but now i'm really into australian stuff like RM Williams and Drizabone...RM Williams make nice elastic sided boots...even have a nice work boot...non-steel toe since they're using kevlar instead...

For outdoors stuff i have a pair of Zamberlan hikers...and a nice Brasher travelling shoe...
