Timberline and Damasteel!?

I was reading the Timberline news page at knifecenter, and it refers to them using a powder steel, with composiniot like ATS34, but with damascus-type layering. Is that steel the mysterious Damasteel? Does anyone have more detailed information on this, or is it just a teaser?
