I just received mine today. The assisted opening is by far the fastest and hardest opening. I have all the ZT folders, a few SOG's, kershaws and the avalanche being my hardest opening till I got this knife. The blade is Aus - 8 drop point and comes quite sharp from the factory. Blade thickness is also quite substantial giving it good strength. It also has whats called a double action feature where you can disable the a/o by a switch on the handle. With a/o disabled the knife opens smooth and equally fast with a flick of the thumb stud. The handle is zytel and the knife is a liner lock. The lockup of the liner is quite good and sturdy. I have the partially serrated version and the blade comes coated black. Overall the knife is a good size for edc at 4 5/8 closed. Price was $55 and is good value for what you get. I definitely recommend this if you are looking for an alternative to a mid/high end a/o kershaw.

I bought one and was very impressed with it myself for the money. It has not seen a whole lot of carry due to a/o's being banned here but I have used it around the house it is a sharp well designed little knife. It was more of an impulse buy at the knife store when I went in to get my ZDP delica but I have not been dissappointed with it.
