I ran into this knife today. At around $25 it seems like a good deal for an AUS-8 blade. It is supposed to be designed like the Chameleon custom model. It also comes with a Tri-Seps Sharpener. I don't really have any experience with Timberline. Has anyone else used this knife? Thanks in advance.

Ive had one for the last three years, or so. Its not a bad knife. quality along the same lines as crkt. Decent knife for the money. no frills. However, I would recommend getting one of these as your money will be better spent:

I'm probably one of the few who've handled the original, and the Timberline. Obviously, the Timberline is not auto, but it is comfy. I would recommend it, esp. that cheap, BUT I'm not so sure about the liner-Disclaimer-I hate Liner Locks-If the pivot pin is set right, it shouldn't be a problem-overall, a great design.--Joe
