Timberline Simba / Spyderco Ocelot???

Does anyone have any experience with the Timberline Simba? It's an obvious successor to the Spyderco Ocelot, and even has the paw prints on the scales. I really like Wegner designs (Blade Techs too), and I will get a plain edge Ocelot one day but have had trouble finding one at a reasonable price. Unfortunately the Simba is made in China, but does have D2 steel and the fit and finish looks decent. If anyone has handled this knife I would really appreciate a response. Thanks!
