http://images.andale.com/f2/115/106/3536269/1157966506342_tim.jpg i first heard of this collaberation between timberline, vallotton & charles ochs in october of last year.its finally here 10 months later.neatest thing about it is that the assisted mechanism can be switched off with the sliding button, making it a manual opener.the blade is 3 1/4" long, the handle is 4 1/2" long, made of a stippled zytel with lines similar to the handle of the ochs black knife.blade is aus-8a with a shiny black finish.pocket clip is also black. handle feels nice in the hand.everything is black on the knife unless you look inside;inside of the back spacer is mirror polished.liner lock opens at beginning of the tang.retail is about 80.00 but its going for about 45-50.00.very sharp out of the box.made in tawain.opens smooth in manual mode, when switched to assist,a slight nudge is all it takes to open it.pocket clip is for deep carry, tip down.almost nothing sticks out when in the pocket.has double thumb studs. blade nicely centered.anyone looking for an interesting & more legal copy of the black knife may want to check this out. its pretty cool.

I agree I have a few of these. For the money they are really nice. PLus being a little smaller than the original, its a little easier to carry also.
