Timberline Warrenty Question?

I broke the assisted opening spring on a Timberline Discovery Lock. The knife was only one month old but of course I opened it a whole bunch of times. I sent the knife to the New York address on the box it came in with a note introducing myself. I have not heard from them in three weeks. Did I send it to the right place and how long should I wait before I give up hope. I really like the design and feel of the knife much better than the Kershaw Blackout that I also have.
