Timberline Zambezi?

I have handled the Zambezi and thought it was a very nice knife. They say Kydex sheath in the ad but IIRC it was more like a Zytel sheath. The knife has a precision fit to the sheath and clicks in place. I was interested in it but I didn't buy it because at that time I was not very deep into knives and $100 (or whatever it was) was more than I had ever considered spending on a knife. Funny how things change ;) I bought a Buck Nighthawk instead.

and IIRC the Sherway Gardens Mall has a HoK retail store inside the mall,so you may be able to handle one very easily and soon from where you are in Mississauga.

I bought a Zambezi Lightfoot fixed blade a few weeks ago at HOK in Sherway Gardens Mall. $80 CAN on sale.
I believe there's a HOK at Square One Mall and also at Erin Mills Mall (?). Never been to those places, though.

As to the knife: I like it but I haven't really used it for anything so far. I've been kind of busy lately and it's not a high priority. Eventually I'll use it.
The sheath seems to be Kydex, perhaps injection-molded; it's not Zytel or FRN.

I have one. I like the knife but hate the sheath. The sheath is too bulky and it's difficult to remove the knife.

The Zambezi was on sale for 79.99 CND at HOK, but if you missed the sale the regular price is 99.99 CND still a great price.

I have one and think it is a very nice knife that sits comfortably in the hand. Personally I like the sheath. It holds the knife securely and in my case any way is quick and easy to remove. You can also adjust how far it hangs down from your belt. I think it is way underated.

Very robust, beautiful curves..ooh la la!
Sheath is kinda funky but it works.
All in all an awesome camp knife for sure.

Here's my modified beauty..I really like this blade!
