How much time do you guys leave between degreasing and applying epoxy?

I usualy wait a minute or two-three but not much longer.
Especially wood leaves me wondering if I do it optimal.
On the one hand you don't want natural oils to come back, on the other hand you also don't want left over alcohol in the wood prefenting a good joint.

How do you guys do it?

I wait until the degreaser/acetone/denatured alcohol dries. I generally use acetone to clean metal and woods...sometimes I will clean off the "acetone residue" with alcohol, but not always. I use G-flex and have never had an epoxy failure.

Same here, acetone and once it's dry I apply epoxy. Used to use Acraglass, have been using Gflex for a while now.

Same. I clean everything with acetone and let it sit for a few minutes then wipe with the 91% alcohol - 1. To wipe off the residue acetone can leave and 2. The 91 evaporates nice and quick.

I also think it's a good idea to clean up any acetone residue, so I just use acetone first for the heavy cleaning to clean off oils, dirt, grime etc. and then alcohol to clean any residual leftovers from the acetone.
