This morning my computer told me as usual, that the time needed to be adjusted. It did this automatically for a an hour earlier. However, all the cable and TV stations and other clocks say an hour later. Weird to say the least but isn't is supposed to be 'spring forward, fall back?

Strange, my self adjusting clock lost an hour last night. I was almost late. Messed up my whole day.

Mine has a switch on the bottom in case congress changed the time change. They did. Check and see if yours has one.

The computer this happened on is an old IBM ThinkPad that still uses Windows 98SE and can't be upgraded anymore. I once stuck a newer op system on it but it slowed it down so much I was forced to go back to the old one. I just use it for the shop to check on emails and into my forum from there on the wireless.

My main computer in the house has not changed though now that you mention it.

Thanks

I knew something wasn't right here.

Receiving the time-change reminder today is also an indication that your computer is way behind on software updates. Some of those updates are to close nasty security loopholes. So, it would be good to spend your new-found hour getting current on your software updates.

As I said, 98SE operating system no longer gives updates. Thanks anyway though.

My cell phone (Moto Q) also "fell back" last night... I reset it, and an hour later, it did it again...obviously it will every time it connects to the network, LOL, I had to change time zones to get it to stop... Now hopefully, I'll remember to set it back next week, LOL... Ain't technology... Something?:foot:  :)

i have a world clock and it changed also.i had to setto a diff time zone too.but computer was fine

Microsoft had a free CD deal a while back, all of the final upgrades and updates for Windows 98se.

Hey this happened to me too, different answers on different computers. I searched a couple of websites and one indicated the time change was Oct 28, the other indicated next Sunday. I know they switched the time change dates this year so it would seem that some systems have adjusted and others haven't.

I usually like fall back, but with two falls I'm feeling a little bruised :(

hmmmm what is this time change you speak of, they dont do that here and things seem to work just fine.:D

Daylight... savings?

I'm glad we don't have to bother with all this clock silliness in Arizona :D.
