We have a large brick on block house. Our outside lighting is furnished by sconces around it . My phantom friend did our fall back time last Sunday night. The light switch is programed to go on & off at pre-set times . How in the thunder did this happen ?

Today I put on trousers . My legs are hairy & now I feel like ants are crawling on my legs.

Uncle Alan wants to know .

Daylight savings time bugs me. All it is, is a tax on our day forcing us to get up an hour earlier and lose that hour of our quiet evening time by adding it to the congested morning rush. I happen to like the long evenings when the clocks go back with the earlier sunset bringing with it more time for myself and family.

The mornings are so dark and as a result of DST, and the stress of the day grinds on into the evening hours.

The sun barely rises now at 8:00 Am. The evening light goes on too late into the evenings during the hotest part of the summer when an earlier sunset would be welcome to bring on relief from the daytime heat.

Studies claim we would actually save energy if we scrapped daylight savings time, and people would get better sleep and fewer accidents. They claim accidents go up by 10% after daylight saving time starts in the spring and doesn't go down until the clocks go back.

I may just turn the clocks back tonight one day earlier.

Being up by 4 to 5 AM I'll enjoy the light. Cold, but Light. :D It's the dark by 5 to 5:30 PM that gets me down with the time change and this time of year. Add Clouds and we see a lot of overcast days where I'm at and the days are even shorter.

Just ask Esav how Grey it gets here in PA. :D

After 5 PM in the dead of Winter the only Light that brightens those cold Winter nights to light the house with, is the warm glow of the Blade Forums on my Computer screen. :D

For the love of God, Spark, Please don't Ban me in the middle of Winter, at least wait until Spring. :) :D

It's the same thing every year when I try to explain the time change to the animals in the woods. I get this reaction - the blank stare - they think I'm crazy!

I will wait till March 21 to ban you. It won't be so GRAY then.

And with the Time change and longer days, I'll be able to see the new Grey hairs that appeared on my head over the dark gray/grey Winter months. :D
