Time for a give away- or a few...

I'm gonna post a few for the asking over the next couple of days, and then one I'll draw numbers for. If one of these first few does anything for you, or fits into a place in your collection, then by all means- claim it. First to say they want it, gets it. They're just things that have piled up through the years somehow- none have any real value, and I have no idea where any of them came from. If no one claims one or two, I'll put 'em back where they were.
I'll use the same thread for all of them...
First up:

Tang stamp says "CAMCO" and "USA"
Tip is missing on main blade. Carbon blades I guess? There's some cleanup needed. Also- someone scratched "pearl" on the mark side scale. I guess someone really wanted a shield lol.

Second one is pretty cool:

Tang says "stainless steel Japan"
I know there are people that love to collect stuff like this, but I'm not one of them. Hopefully someone here is. I'd love for someone to have it that wants it.
I'll post the next one after these are either gone, or back in the back of my drawer, prolly never to see the light of day again... :(

I would take that Gates V-Belt knife as long as you don't mind if I give it to someone else. I have a friend here in town that I know would like it. I also know he does not already have one.

I would make sure he knows that the knife came from you and not me.

If you would rather give it to someone that will keep it for themselves, I completely understand and I would not be offended.

Thank you.

It's yours Rick, and it certainly "came from you". I'm glad someone will enjoy having it. :D

Thank you, Jamie!

I certainly do appreciate it and I know Mitch will too.

PM on the way.

Cool snag Rick. I thought it was pretty cool but nothing I'd ever use.

Okay. One is gone, so I'll go ahead and put up the third. I'm sure someone collects these:

NIB. Never seen daylight until today, so if you collect these, you'll dig this one. :)

That was quite cool, I have been watching these go from the start of the thread...Generous gesture there Jamie :cool:

Well, I guess I'll go ahead and post up the last one. Your post will be your entry number, and I'll draw from a hat (since this is the traditional forum) in a few days.
Smooth red bone Boker whittler. Carbon master and coping, and (I think) stainless pen. (Kind of odd, but my Boker barlow has a carbon master and stainless pen, and this one seems to be the same?) Anyway- pretty cool knife. F&F is good but not perfect. Blades have quite good W&T. I've carried it some, and the master has some patina developing.

LOL. Well, I DO have a hard time with that... I call my daughters Charlie and Al. :D
Oh- and I call my wife Jac. :)

Well I guess it doesn't matter. Some of the guys I work with are so wimping I call them girly men so what the hey I'll be a guyie girl. :D

What a nice gesture, Jamie. Please count me in for the Boker drawing, I've had my eye on one of those Tree Brands for a little while now.

Very kind of you to give it back to such an informative forum

Thank you
-Miles

I would be honored to be in the drawing for the boker, that is a nice looking whittler, thank you for the opportunity.

I would also like to be in the drawing for the Boker whittler. Thanks for the great give away.
