Time for a mini-Adamas?

I would love to see a mini-Adamas.

3" M390 blade with satin finish
silver screws, axis lock,clip and liner
Same beefed up axis lock
may even get it to 6 oz :eek:

Then again, maybe not. It would be to hard to decide which one to EDC.
 
I'd actually like to see one with a longer blade. Like 4" - 4.5" along the lines of the Rukus and Skirmish.
 
I think it's time to redo the fixed blade, even cheap handles and a solid spine would make it better, as is, it lacks anything that I want.
 
A mini Adamas, with some special runs of different steels, M390, CPM M4, 154CM, and such would sell like hell. Yes they need to make it beefed up. There is nothing wrong with my Grip, but they don't need to make it the same as, they need a beefy small knife. Maybe make it a FFG, or some different blade profiles. It would be hard not to like.

I agree. For a beefy small knife, try a 300 flipper.

So... basically the 520 Presidio with G10 handles.

I'm with you. I want one so bad but will not buy one because of the saw back.

And yes, mini Adamas. I would buy one if they would just make one that isn't so fat. Way too thick for pocket carry for my tastes. Oh, and an uncoated blade.
 
I don't have too much interest in the Adamas but if you make a 3in version and now I have to give it some thought. It would really starts sparking my interest especially if I can get a deep carry pocket clip and allow tip down carry.

Yep, that was my thought too. I own a 'Bonesidio' which works really well, (see the pic below) but would love to see production G10 on a 520. Unlike the smaller 94x thread elsewhere, there's room for a mini-Adamas. A number of models already have the mini versions, so why not? I've handled a regular sized version (Adamas) and love the HD build, but it Is too big for my EDC chores.

That's one thing I still haven't done with my 520. Of course, since my wife got mine custom anodized, I'd be a dead man if I swapped scales.
 
I would normally say yes to a 3" folder but the Adamas scaled down may become too out of proportion and would it be much lighter... Adamas is the epitome of a big bad boy... In black of course.
