I am perfectly happy with what I have, you know—the cheap shit. But, who am I to argue when I’m told to spend some serious $$ in the shop before the end of the year?
I’d like to hear personal, hands-on experience with Ameribrade and Reeder. Particularly with regard to tracking and functionality in the horizontal positions, and build durability (I kinda wonder about Reeder’s long-term hard everyday use).
Thanks
I know the Ameribrade tooling is different, but that is not an issue for me.
Thanks much

I have the Reeder in 2HP. Knife sharpening attachment, (love it for roughing edge bevels) small wheel attachment, surface grinding attachment, couple of contact wheels. It's steady, no noticeable wear on anything but the CRS platen that it came with. I changed that out for a homemade D2 platen with a DIY chiller.. The tracking is spot on, never bogged it down, never a moment of trouble. Don and Greg Reeder are a pleasure to work with.
I'm a machinist, so I love the fit, finish, and accuracy of the all CNC machined grinder.

Never used an Ameribrade, so no comparison.

Outlaw by Paragon. IMO best on the market right now. Of the other 2 I would say Ameribrade.

Another vote for the Reeder, I've had it for about a year, it's held up great and tracks like a champ!
As a side note, I only bought a chassis from them.
