well, i've been thinking about getting a new knife, and was wondering if you guys could give me some input. This is going to be a EDC with a blade around 3-3.5" with optimum length being 3.25". The clip has to be reversible and tip up. Handle material could be anything besides frn, zytel or similiar material. Blade shape should be good for utility purposes. Price range is around 150 give or take. I don't like coating unless it's boron and i prefer framelock or axis etc over liner lock. thanks

Benchmade 941. You might find a Limited Edition 941 with a BC1 coated blade in your price range (email me). It's a 154 CM Boron Carbide coated 3.5" flat ground drop point blade. What a slicer! The 941 is exactly in your blade length range and is an awesome knife that fits your budget. It's also a tip up design, but drilled for left or right hand carry. I liked the design enough to accidentally buy 4 of them (I'll part with two of them).
