So i've been thinking about getting a small fixed blade for edc and light camp chores. I was thinking something along like lines of a 2-3 in blade and a nice sheath. I was looking at the izula as so many suggest but i also have been looking at the BRKT Bravo Necker or the Scrap Yard Scrapivore. Are there any more in that size that i should really take a look at. Oh I almost forgot to say i dont want to spend a huge amount of money around 60-100 bucks i'd say is about right

You can get an Izula with custom G10 scales from TKC for about $100... I really like mine, the scales make a world of difference.

The Sr101 A.K.A. 52100 blade steel featured in the Scrapyard Scrapivore and Swamp Rat Swamp Warden has slowly become one of my go to blade steels for a fixed blade knife. The downside to the said blade steel is the lack of corrosion resistance and with that being said I prefer the Swamp Warden over the Scrapivore seing as it sports a very thick and protective finish over the blade that helps prevent rust. Just wrap a bit of Para cord on the handle and you should be good to go. Pair either of these knives up with a universal sharpshooter pocket sheath and you'll have a very effective and efficient EDC setup.

i might have to try that looks like a really mean slicer

Oh yeah, I love it. It's actually really great with the factory edge too, but I find at the 10 degree per side angle the tip is a super fine slicer.
