I personally like the looks of the saber ground 16's, but I know the full flats are more slicey. In all honesty, the tweener handles are too small for me anywhos, so it matters to me not, haha.
 
It would devalue those out there now.
Anyone who paid $150 for one will be pissed lol.
I'd def buy a user.
 
personally Id pass. I like the looks of the sabre 16, but if I want a sabre tweener I'd just use my 17
 
I'm still hoping to find an older one somewhere for at least a reasonable deal. Haven't been looking real hard but will pick one up if I find it. I'm not sure whether I'd buy a new one or not...thinking not.
 
It's always time for a New Run if it's an improvement ? Would I buy Saber 16 ? Yes , why ? Cause they look good and I don't have one .
 
I'd buy one....because that's the way I am. But I like the 16 the way it is.....now if it was a true Scandi (which Ethan doesn't really care for, IIRC) then I'd DEFINITELY want to try one out. There is a reason (probably a couple) that Ethan finally settled on the FFG, and it certainly works.

Are you from New England? 'Cause those are OUR words. That, and "wicked retahded".....which I guess is not so PC but really doesn't mean the same thing to Bostonians as it might to some more sensitive types.
 
Well...if anyone is reeeeally interested in obtaining a pristine saber ground BK-16 w/custom micarta, and has both a BK-11 CSM and a roll stamped BK-17 (even in used but serviceable condition as long as not beat all to h_ll) and is interested in working something out, feel free to send me a message or an email. I am not really a huge fan of the BK-16. I prefer the 17. But I prefer the roll stamped saber BK-16 over the newer traction coated and laser engraved BK-17s. So I am actively looking for another roll stamped BK-17 and I am looking for another BK-11 CSM or two also. It would be the bottom knife in these pics but with a different set of micarta handle scales, natural canvas customs or dyed black factory micarta, because I have since put these scales on another BK-17.

Not straight up no, hence the "work something out" part of the text. I know I would have to up the ante. And the trades wouldn't have to be NIB like the 16 is. I'd even look at one or the other, with the other party upping the ante if their were in rough shape. Hey, it was just a thought since so many people seemed to want one. Not like I hate the 16 and want rid of it, r started a sales thread listing those terms lol. But there are others I would rather have....
 
Hah, sorry, just razzing ya bro... I get it! I've had my eye out for the CSM forever and its just hard to find. Now THATs one we need another run of!
