As I was jogging across the parking lot to go back in my apartment yesterday my 14 decided to jump out of the stock sheath and take a bouncy trip across the parking lot resulting in some tip and edge damage that was mostly sharpened out and some dings in the powdercoat. I have my usual style for making my kydex sheaths but I want to see what yall have and like and see if anything stands out or gives me any new ideas :) Here's a pic of my style of sheaths. Basic and very functional is what I go for. This one is now tek lok compatible as well.

The BK16 up top is one of the FPR versions with the roll-stamped logo and saber grind. On the inside of the sheath, you can actually read the logo.

Some things that are important to me in a custom kydex sheath (in no particular order)

A thumb ramp, for removing knife quietly when need be.
The ability to remove & replace securely with one hand.
An audible "click " when put back in with authority, so you KNOW it is secure without looking.
Smooth edges everywhere.
Properly spaced holes for accessory pouches or adding another smaller blade & multiple mounting positions of the tech-loc.
Not too thick but not too thin kydex.
Belt dangler w/wide elastic leg strap w/QR buckle. (if worn on the belt)
The ability to put it on & take it off without removing your belt. (if worn on the belt)
Wide drain hole.

My BK9/Gerber Metolius fixed blade w/no gut hook set up.

BK7 w/Gerber Metolius fixed blade w/no gut hook.
