Well, that's how Jack Levin describes this style. He's the maker.

As you guys know, I am fond of his stuff and unique designs. As an aid to him, I invited him up to my home in CT over the weekend, and did a photo shoot of a number of his available knives he has on-hand. Jack is so old-world he doesn't have a computer or digital camera or any of those skills yet.

Here's one of his all-damascus automatic knives with his 'Renaissance' styling. George Werth damascus, Ron Knott engraving. I did up one of my collages with a little color for even more pizazz! :p

Thought you guys might want to have a peek.

Incredible, not really my style, but that really is a beautiful knife. Thanks for the pictures, but next time make sure that you give us a little better look OK? ;)

Not my style of knife either, but I can appreciate how much work went into making them. An amazing piece of work.

Copp, the knife looks great, but I can't tell you how much I hate that color paper background. :barf:
I'll tell you what I'd like to see instead of that Scrapbook style is a Montage of the key elements of that knife in one illustration. Now as a real challenge keep it to about 6.5" wide and 5" high, and the File Size under 60K.

For you guys that think I'm being too hard on Coop, relax we've been working together on his pics, and Coop knows I think he's doing great.

Yep, Phil, That would be a challenge. But I'm up to it.

I just got PhotoShop to work with now, and it is daunting. It makes me even MORE apreciative of your work--not less. I'll report back soon. In the meanwhile you'll have to live with my mediocrity....;)
