I`m going to auction these two off. Bidding will end on October 31st, at 12 noon.

This is a 5" closed, 8 7/8" open Friction Folder with 1/8" thick titanium handles. The blade is made from 5/32" thick O1 steel, and features a saber grind, with the flats left in a heat treat finish. It`s held together with 8/32 allen bolts for the pivot, and 6/32 allen bolts holding it together. There are .016 thick bronze washers on either side of the blade. It also features a screw locking function, turning into basically a fixed blade, if you decide you need a bit more security while working with the knife. Bidding will start at $100

Here it is in the closed position. The screw nearest the rear of the handle is a thumbscrew, which you can remove and place in the hole through the handle and blade tang to convert to the fixed position.

Here it is opened up. You can see the thumbscrew in the blade locking hole through the tang.

Auction closed! 1066vik gets the folder for $135 and glennbad gets the fixed for $75. Both of you please send me your addresses, and I will get them ready to ship.

Thanks!

I can't believe i was allowed to score the folder that cheap!

Payment sent -- I added an extra $5 to cover PP fees.
Shipping address on file w/PP is correct.

Thanks, John!

congrats 1066! I wanted to go for that friction folder, but I have a new JK coming soon and that would put me in the red....

yeah...these knives were steals. sorry i couldn't have bid more John. bad timing, for me.

This is not the first great deal I have got from John! And I get the bonus of some great cord wrap work by Connie!

Thanks for offering these great knives.

Paypal sent with fees.

friction folder showed up yesterday -- that thing is a monster!
it's huge!
I'll post some pictures in a few days to give an idea of size.
OTOH, it's got a great feel in hand - and I have no fear that it can handle anything I want to do with it.

I received the fixed blade a day or two ago. The thing is sweet. I'll have to post a pic soon.

I love the combo of the naked blade and the cord wrap.
