Time for One More Knife!

Ladies and Gentleman, One More Knife is officially open! Go to https://www.onemoreknife.com/ to check out our selection of your favorite blades. It’s been a long time coming, but we finally made it. We would really appreciate the fellow bladeforums member support! Thanks guys!
And remember there’s always room in the collection for One More Knife ;)
Your “About Us” page says you haven’t launched yet. I would definately change that.

Almost all of your leading U.S. competitors ship to Canada. You have no plans to ship outside of the USA?

Nice catch! Yes, I do have plans to ship to our Northern Neighbors. I’m working on that right now actually.

Conga rats. Best of luck with your business.:thumbsup:

Good news.

Some advice? Stick to shipping USPS/Canada Post when shipping to Canada. Cheap, great tracking, reliable and no insanely high brokerage fees. UPS is absolutely brutal and Fedex isn’t far behind.

Good luck!

That’s good advice. I appreciate it!

I just checked out the website. Looks great. I wish you the best in you store.

I have a question. This is not meant for any disrespect or spite. What makes onemoreknife different than... other shops? Like knifecenter or bladehq. Does it have better shipping or any benefit to using this store compared to others?

Thanks

Congratulations on your new store. :)
The website looks very good. :)
Will you be branching out to carry any "Traditional" pocket knives and fixed blades?
If so, please carry something at the Case and Rough Rider price point, as well as the higher end products like GEC.
Opinel and Svord are also two inexpensive knives with a good reputation and following.
You might also want to consider adding Mora fixed blades to your traditional line up. Again, an inexpensive knife with an excellent reputation and following.
Good luck, May your store last decades. :)

No disrespect taken at all! It's a solid question and I'll tell you my inspiration behind it. Like many people here, I love to browse through knife websites like Knife Center and Bladehq or the manufacturers' websites, but believe it or not, I was always a little underwhelmed. All of the sites somewhat looked the same, and when you clicked on a product, there wasn't much to it; nothing that caught my eye. So my goal going into this was to create a website that was attractive to scroll through. All of the product pictures were unique, and the website in general was littered with beautiful knife photography. And as time goes on, I will continue to beautify the website and make it more of a virtual hangout for knife enthusiasts; to continue to bridge the gap between forum and dealer.
My other goal is to offer the best prices I can. There is a restriction placed on pricing from some manufacturers, but I will always hover right there - as well as have plenty of sales for my fellow BF members!
Thank you for the question!

Are you able to fill orders for models you don't currently have in stock? Assuming it's a model from a brand you carry.

I'd always prefer to support small businesses when I can and if you can fill the orders via drop-ship from a distributor it might bring in a few more sales.

Nice website, your prices look competitive. Build up your brands and inventory and you'll be set. I'll be sure to check y'all out for my next knife purchase.

Best of luck on your new venture!!!

Yes, I can! If there is something I don't have in stock, I can most likely get it pretty quick. Great question!
