Andy and I did some stuff in 440C the other day. Here are mine all finished up.

They are:
Kilo, done in 3/16" 440C convex saber ground with double black canvas micarta, black and blue liners, and G10 1/4" pin and stainless 1/4" tube.

niiiiice.

The other is the new version of the Delta Foxtrot. I have yet to come up with a name. Right now it's just the Delta 2.0. I jokingly refer to it as the Charlie Foxtrot. It is 3/16" thick 440C convex saber ground with mirror polished flats, double black canvas micarta, black and red liners, two G10 1/4" pins and one stainless 1/4" tube.

Both of them got some really sick looking kydex.

Be expecting a lot more stainless knives from Fletcher knives. Also, be expecting exotic stainless. :D

Thanks guys. I think it's getting awfully close to time to order a bunch of hot exotic stainless. :D

D@mn Bro, those are reeeeally sweet!

You are meaning a new "variant" of the D.F. right? As in an available variation and not a replacement? I like it a lot but I still like the original DF a lot too.

I have a patina started on on mine from so much using it in food prep.

Of course. The original Delta will always be around. It's still my alltime favorite woods knife. This new version is just for the more tactical side of me.

Love the new knife. My kilo sees daily carry. It is a great little knife with a lot of cutting power.

So does mine. I think it's a pretty hard to beat EDC knife.

Thanks brother. I'm a 440C fan too. I have several folders and a few fixed blades out of 440C. I think as long as the heat treat is done correctly, it lives up to its "super steel" designation from olden times. It's funny how people turned on it. There was a point in time when 440C was going to be the absolute hottest steel being used, then I think some bad examples got rumors started. Then the "well I've HEARD..." bandwagon launched and now it's looked down on. Too bad. I think it's good stuff as long as it's done correctly.
