I'd actually love to see the MEGA treatment on a hawk or hatchet. Don't care of it's INFI or SR-101, since they're both awesome steels.

Not sure if any hawks were produced with Busse branding, but the Swamp Rat Rattle Hawk and Sniper Hawk were both made with 1/4" stock, and plain, utilitarian handles. I have owned both and sold them. They just didn't light my fire.....

Look at the hawks that Winkler, RMJ, Ryan W, Wenger, and Half Face Blades have turned out over the past few years. Some very nice stuff. So count me for some updated offerings from Busse. More than one, please!

See, I wasn't* around yet when the Hawks are offered. Bussekin just barely came on my radar when the KDSH fresh out and was fought over on the secondary market.

I miss my cord wrapped KDSH, that one was wicked awesome. Would it be too much to ask for a Mega KDSH with cord wrapped handle DIY potential?

Jack of All Blades - with a proper two handed , bearded tomohawk, you could build a pretty nice shelter for free. It’s an investment that will flourish in time.
