Time line for green beret pacific release?

An uneducated guess (I have no knife making experience) I assume it wouldn't be a big issue. Just less machining to do before coating and finishing. I'm excited none the less.

I wonder when it'll start hitting dealers. I'm very excited about this. I wanted one of these for years but I personally can't stand serrations

I have asked for a non serrated Pacific for years. I finally got my wish

You were the 1st forum member I thought of. I know this had been on your list for a long time. Very happy for you. Are you going to go Black or Tan?

My Pacific is in S30V. I could not really justify an upgrade on steel alone, however, now with black blade and no serrations the S35VN is going to happen!
Woo Hoo!

I think that the non-serrated Pacific will be great, the serrations weren't very useful next to the deep finger choil, whatever I was sawing with the teeth would fall into and get hung up in the finger choil.

The serrations worked fine on the Green Beret, thanks to the 'choil' being in-line with the cutting edge they never hung up when sawing at tough material, I wouldn't want that knife without the serrations.

Another notable change to the Green Beret is that the serrated version now has double-sided serrations like the pacific and the serrated Sebenzas. The original model had the serration all ground into one side of the blade.

I think my heart just skipped a beat. I don't venture over here too often. I sold my GBs and Pacific. Mostly because if the serrations. Something said pop over and say hi this morning. So glad I did. Just wonderful news!

I think a plain edge Green Beret 5.5 would be about the perfect field knife.

Judge,

Did you opt for the 7 or the 5.5? Or the Pacific?

The 5.5 has me looking at stuff to sell.
