I would like to take this time to thank all of you for your time, interest and support on this forum for the past year.

I don't have the spare time to frequent many forums, but I can say of this one;

You are a remarkable group IMO, demonstrating courtesy, intelligence and in general, a "higher level of awareness".

You avoid causing dissention in the forum and have handled the few "trolls" with maturity.

You have great knowledge (surprizingly so) of the products and history of our efforts.

You are readily willing to share with those less experienced.

You welcome the new visitors and generally moderate the forum for me. This makes the "tough" job of moderating easier for me. I truly feel that it is "our forum" and not my forum.

I would also like to take this time to thank Mike and Spark for making this forum possible.

We at Spyderco would like to wish all of you a healthy, happy, successfull 2001.

Thank you, Sal, for those kind words. And I may add, that your interest in this forum is apparent. I think that is such an important factor to this forum's success. What other owner of a major cutlery company would be up at this hour of the day to check on their forum?

Thanks for all your hard work, patience and perserverance. God bless you in 2001!

Sal,

Happy New Year!

Do not overlook the role that you and Michelle play here! We all very much appreciate your time and energy, and your efforts to actively seek out our thoughts. It means a lot to me, as I'm sure it does to everyone else here.

The title of your post really scared me for a minute, I was afraid that you were going to tell us that your New Years resolution was to move to Ouray and open a Jeep Ranch or something.

Any way, as long as you are here, we will be here. This New Year should be better and more fun than last year.

Now, Let's figure out how to get ambidextrous clips on a few more knifes this year!

Thank you for your participation Sal and Michelle. We appreciate being able to have a chat with the people who make some of our favorite knives. Guys like Sal, Will Fennell, and Joe Houser, and C J Buck are the kind of class act that sets an example for the rest to follow.

Sal, thank *you*. It's really amazing to me to be able to get on the internet, ask a question, and have it answered not just by fellow enthusiasts, but from the head of the company. Thank you again for making this forum what it is, and for being such a patient and valuable resource to all of us interested in Spyderco.
