Alrights ya'll, today is the start of my official "Daughter's Birtday/Summer Vacation". My daughters Bdays are 6 days apart, so, I take off a week during the summer for their Bdays, and to make a summer vacation.

We got some stuff planned, tubing down the Little River, fishing, hiking, camping at Uncle WierdBeard's Place, Dollywood, and some other stuff we ain't figured out yet. I will be on and off throughout the week, but this week belongs to my daughters.

Also, Uncle Ethan is heading to Argentina on Sunday, for 10 days of bird killing. Ya'll should have seen how excited he was when we were talking about it. This is an annual pilgrimage that he makes, in the efforts to cull the Argentina Parakeet and wetland fowl population.

I'm tryin' to get his ass to get on here and post up some before he leaves, but between Blade Show, Honey Do's (yeah, he's got alot), and Argentina, he's been pretty busy, as always.

Wish him luck, and I'll be posting some pics of me and girls adventures some next week.

I'll be around.

Moose buddy, enjoy this time while you can . . . . today they start the 9th grade of high school, next week-end you are planning a graduation party . . . . :)
Trust me, gospel from one of your elders. Sally told me when I got custody of my son when he turned 12, high school would go by like nothing I had ever had happen . . . . and it did. He turned 28 this year, just got back from BPS's for some line and spinnerbaits, and a great time. Time is too short when they hit this age, spend every minute you can with yours, take all the photos you can, and file them away for the later years . . .
Good for you being the dad and for keeping alive the outdoor adventures for the next generation . . . .:thumbup:

Awesome! Enjoy the time with the little ladies! Nothing is more important than family. Wish them both a very happy birthday from the Beckerheads!

as for Ethan, yah, gotta get him on here POSTING more. i know he reads stuff, but he's not a speed typist (maybe he can hire someone :>). plus i'm teaching him viewing shortcuts - it's subversive - the more efficient he is, the more he can be here ;) hah. he'll never read this ;)
 
Enjoy every minute of you vacation because a week at work seems like a month and a week on vacation seems like a day.
 
Hope all goes well. Few things I enjoy as much as getting into trouble with my homemade posse...
