Folks, just an FYI. I probably will not be spending as much time as usual on here in the next 3-4 days. Sally T. goes into surgery tomorrow morning to start her reconstructive process from the breast cancer (I ask her if she cared if I mentioned what the surgery was & she said, " If those guys are your friends, then they are mine too ") and the doctor said the first few days would be extremely hard on her especially with the current cancer meds, just finishing up her 2nd round of chemo. and with having to change her dressings and such.
Keep the fires burning, and if you find some time, say a little prayer for her . . . . Hopefully this is the last 100 yds. of a long journey that no one should ever have to go thru . . . .
Thanks guys, we love you all . . . . .
Be safe.

We'll be thinking about and praying for you both. Is sally gonna take her KFU shirt to the hospital with her?
If the nurses see her with that knife on her shirt, they'll be sure to treat her right, lol.

May GOD watch over her and and encompass her with his infinite love,
May he shelter her within his heart and nurture her in a speedy recovery,
May he shower her and her family with never ending blessings,
Amen!!

Man, you guys are the best, and we both mean that. Kind of a let down today, we got to the hospital this morning, registered her in, and the doctor came out and said they would have to cancel the surgery due to finding blood in her urine test when she had her pre-op physical last Friday. He said the primary care doctor didn't say how much or if it was serious, but just wanted us to call him as soon as we could so she could get in for an exam. I don't understand why the p/c doctor didn't call us to let us know as well and for her to get herself "ready" for this and then have it cancelled is something that is bothering me.
The good news is her blood tests from the pre-op still are ok and red cell count is up more than the last time which means the chemo is slowly leaving her body.
Will have to wait to see now with this new "issue" of the blood and urine and go from there . . . . The good news is :
YA' LL WILL HAVE ME AROUND FOR ALL EVENING AGAIN !!! !!! !!! !!!
Thanks for all the good thoughts, will definitely hold onto them for the next round . . . .
Be safe.
