Time Team finds a 7th-century Anglo-Saxon small Seax.

As you know I purchased a replica of a 7th-Century small Seax. Time Team is a long-running archaeology show from the UK from 1994 years it aired on Channel 4 in the UK. It was canceled for no good reason in 2014. Its fans clamored for the show's return. Finally, in 2022 with most of the original crew, the show was re-established with the support of Patreon. I became a sponsor from the very beginning. They launched the new series on YouTube. In the latest episode "The Princely Burial" they found a high-status grave of a boy about 10 years of age. He was buried with a Shield, spear, and sword, on his belt was a small Seax. It has not been conserved as of this episode but the design is identical to the Small Seax I purchased, except for the brass pommel and bolster I have on mine. It is so nice to have in my hand a knife with such a connection to the past.
