Thanksgiving just past and Christmas is near. I was thinking about when I was going to ordering my third ESEE (5) and realized how thankful I was to have a job and have the funds to buy things like ESEE knives. Then I thought about how thankful I was I found ESEE knives online. How thankful I was to all those who have offered advice on Bladeforums and to Mrs. Shotgunner who lended a special hand of advice in making my first ESEE purchase. How thankful ESEE makes such a quality knife for such a reasonable price. I then thought about some of the work the guys at ESEE do in other countries . . . which made me think about soldiers and their sacrifice for our freedom and the freedom of others around the world. We live in this great country, THE USA, where we have so much to be thankful for even in these tough economic times. i am am also thankful for such a great family I have and to be living in the great state of Texas. thank God for all we are blessed with.

Thank you ESEE and and this forum . . . oops the music is starting . . . take the time to be thankful because we all have a lot to be thankful for.

Capt R, I'll offer a definite +1 to this sentiment. That we have income to support ourselves and our families, and have some leftover to buy these things, is a blessing indeed.

I'll also offer my thanks to our troops, many of them serving in hazardous places and difficult circumstances, away from family and friends.

And thanks to the folks at ESEE, who make great knives and do so with a great business model.

Thank God Indeed.

I add a +1 as well.

To much is taken for granted. I am thankfull as well for all that life has and is providing me; health, friends, familly, work and some $$ to get a couple of ESEE's :D

All the best to the thankful side of you all during the holidays period...

Great post idea!!

Regardless of the holiday (since I'm not one to wait for a holiday to get in an appreciative mood) :), Mike and I appreciate every customer and forum member we have. Even those that are a pain in the ass sometimes - because they still make us laugh. None of this would have been possible with you guys believing in us and taking a chance on us when it comes to your knife purchases, training and simply trusting our words. We appreciate that. Good thread.

I feel like I"m a pretty good judge of character (even through posts on the web) and the ESEE crew seems like a great group of people and more importantly, the kind of people I can trust. I appreciate your philosophies and the approaches you take with your business. It's what has drawn me to your knives and what has kept me on the forum.

On to the topic at hand. I have much to be thankful for and a reminder to stop and think about that is always a good thing!

Thanks Jeff. I think you make a great product and support it well. That's a successful business model. I am a life long fan of the knives and will own them all eventually. Hope to meet the both of you someday and thank you personally. Would love to attend a survival course, but not in the budget right now. Keep on making good knives and we will kepp on buying.
