Today is a sometimes stressful part of the process. I today.... Am all Zened out. Stress free and mind relaxed :)

36 grit can be your friend or foe. Makes quick scraps out of thin steel if you don't watch it. If it's your friend it adds speed which = more blades.

36 grit grind. I don't go far with this grit on smaller knives/thinner stock

I'm saving the 3/32" fixed blade not ground for my 60 grit stage.

Now time to set the bevels a little better.

Time to go get new oxy/aced tanks :)

BG you forgot to add the 36 grit belt makes scraps of yer fingers real quick if not careful! too funny. Its been a while since I posted, I didnt know you were making folders of any sort, awesome.

Brian you make it look easy........Do you drill your holes after HT? I didn't know you did folders either, thats cool. Larry

I drill my pin holes after heat treat since that won't be hardened with the torch. D2 knives have to get farther along before heat treat.

I'll raise the bevels up some with going back to 60 through 400

I'll shoot for something like these at 400 grit.

Very nice work!

It's easy to get carried away with those 36 grit belts!
