To the Kephart. It has been a good seller, but it`s outdated. If there is any interest, I will do a final run of them in August. Price will be $200 + $8 shipping, in any standard handle material. You can choose the small pins as shown in top photo, or the larger pins with lanyard tube, like the bottom photo, in brass or aluminum.

A classic design that will never be outdated!

Mine served me well & I hated to have to sell it.

That Osage sure looks good on it.

My first JK. I gave mine to a friend of my sons who was going into the Marine Corps.

Myke - not to change the intent of the thread - but this is the 2nd photo I have noticed you posting that along with the knife is a morel mushroom. Are you a mushroom hunter?

Ok - back to saying goodbye to the Kephart :) - before my time here...

I agree with myke! The kephart will never be a outdated design. it's a classic and probably through out my times here one of if not your best seller. I'm not quite sure I understand the reason for letting one of you best sellers go.

And I agree with grunt.;)

When I see what other makers are calling a Kephart, and selling them like crazy, it makes me realize my design is outdated.

Yeah, but what they call a Kephart with a pointier blade tip & squared butt is not actually a Kephart IMO.
They are just using the name to lure buyers.

If it doesn't cost you to keep it in your lineup, why drop it?
Give those that care about holding with tradition the option of getting a true to form traditional Kephart.

Just my opinion.....

An opinion I respect.

Agreed. How many guys have a JK Original? Another great knife that has disappeared. I think many of your knives are not super popular, yet they are quality products that do the jobs necessary. I was privileged to name it and I've used the heck outta mine. John, you have produced a lot of knives and created some fabulous one of a kinds. Your Kephart is a classic style.

I'm rambling now. My opinion is that you make a good product at a reasonable price. And you are a great guy to deal with.

and I agree with you again! I use to not really dig the kephart until I used one. they are great and have really grown on me. I do not like the newer versions that are all pointy and tactical like. I personally think John makes one of the best Kepharts out there.

Wait, I'm still trying to save up for one. Oh no, the pressure is on. I don't want to miss out.
