It's time to start on our 2nd million posts since we had to give up on the 1st. million.

It's great to know that the posts up until now will be archived for the future use of all of us and the new people that will continue to find the best khukuris in the world from H.I. and Birghorka!!

I am beginning to experience severe symptoms of HIKV.
Anyone else having the same problems? (VBSEG)

Khukuri FAQ

It's been a long yesterday and I'll put some stuff up in about 10 hours, noon EST, including update on Bill. Computer running but mind has crashed.

Yvsa,

Great sentiments! And YES my HIKV is in full bloom! I've had that chiruwa AK on order for awhile now--supposed to come in sometime in march. AHHHH the sweet agony of waiting

Rusty,

Thanks for keeping us all informed on Bill's condition, and for taking over for Bill (again)

Some overripe "honeydo"s have intruded. Looks like a couple more hours before I get to key up and sound the boots and saddles. Or whatever.

So I sat down and fell asleep. I'm cranking it up now. Once things settle a bit, then I'll try hooking up the new machine.

Started a year ago with a Win95 75mhz pentium w/ 24mb and 14" monitor, upgraded to 133mhz, then to 48mb, and went wild last week picking up a 19" monitor and Win98 500mhz K6-2 w/ 64mb.

Don't want to change over til Bill's back so if setting up the new system deranges me he can keep things going. Besides, as soon as it's running, it'll be time to add more ram, put in a CD-RW, and on and on. Thank god computer upgrading is a pale comparison to the likes of HIKV.

Wow, Rusty, you won't know how to act with that new 500 horsepower computer. We'll be expecting some great things from you.

Yvsa, my HIKV is acting up also. I can't wait until Uncle Bill gets back (and hopefully soon after he returns he'll move toward putting your forward-curving khukuris into production).

Rule number one. If it works, don't fix it.

I didn't dare replace a slow, but set up and working computer with W95 and try to set one with W98 up while Bill was out. Oh, I changed the 14" monitor for the new 19" one, but otherwise haven't touched the new one.

As for me blowing you all away, there's only one problem. I'm told my new computer has the same fault as my old one. It does what I tell it to do instead of what I want it to do.
