Greetings All
I've eavesdropped long enough I guess.Let me introduce myself, my name is Robert Rossdeutscher. I've been a bladesmith for about 10 years now. Some of you know me from Batson's symposium at Tannahill. My latest claim to fame was coming in second to Big John Fitch at the symposium cutting contest. I'm just starting to get into this computer thing and thought I would stick my toes in the water and say hello. I have also gotten a web site up and going. It's www.rnrknives.com any comments would be helpful. This is going to be fun.
Thanks-----------Bob

Glad to see you on the forums, Robert. Are you going to Mesquite?
See you later.

Hey Bob,Glad to see you here finally...Has your wife tried dying any bones for you yet?
Hey I remember that was a $.99 crowbar that he used and he also made a stand for it to sit on from another one and it was red and from China:D :D :D
Please jump in with both feet as I know your knowledge on knives will be apriceated here..Have fun with the computer..

Hello, Bob, I met you at Janesville last March I think it was. Welcome to BF. I live up the road from you in Waukegan. Nice website, looks good and informative, nice fotos. Excellent work, as I got the pleasure to see firsthand. Take care.

Bob---Welcome to the forum--- The water gets a little cooler when you start rising up on your tippy toes and the temperature is perfect for acquiring new friends!

Nice work for sure. Very inspiring for me and I am glad you are here for me to learn from.

Computers have become a convenience and an easy door to the sharing of information. You have been lucky, as I, to find this most friendly and valuable forum designed specifically for our purposes and needs.

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Yes, that knife was made from a 99 cent crow bar from the local Ace hardware store, and yes, it was from China. The only show that I have time for this fall is the Edgerton Wis. show (hunting and rendezvous seasons are fast approaching). It's been good to hear from so many people that I already knew, and even better to hear from so many that I don't yet know. I look forward to taking part in this.

PS. Hey Bruce, I like the new teeth!
